On January 21, thirty-four musicians of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra met sitar virtuoso, Anoushka Shankar in a rehearsal room on the Upper West Side. Working together over the next 12 days, they will to bring life the world premiere of Ravi Shankar's newest composition- Concerto No. 3 for Sitar and Orchestra.

As an online partner of the Orpheus Raga project, PlaybillArts will stream the daily "webisode" videos, giving you exclusive access to the skill, the artistry and the inherent drama that are part of the unique Orpheus rehearsal process.

The series will culminate in the Jan. 31 Carnegie Hall debut of the work at the Stern Auditorium/ Perelman Stage.
