One of the hottest tickets at this year's Mostly Mozart Festival opens tonight: the world premiere run of Mozart Dances, commissioned by Lincoln Center from choreographer Mark Morris and performed by his company, the Mark Morris Dance Group.

The new evening-length work promises to be a feast for the ears as well as the eyes. Not only is Morris among the most musical of choreographers working today, but he'll have some estimable collaborators in the pit: pianists Emanuel Ax and Yoko Nozaki, conductor Louis Langrée and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra. They'll be playing all Mozart (but you knew that) — the Piano Concertos Nos. 11 and 27 and the Sonata in D major for two pianos (K. 448).

The Mark Morris Dance Group performs Mozart Dances, with Louis Langrée conducting the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra and pianists Emanuel Ax and Yoko Nozaki, tonight, tomorrow and Saturday, August 17-19, at 8 pm at the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
