New York City Ballet Principal Nikolaj Hübbe Joins Ballet Arizona for Balanchine Festival

Longtime New York City Ballet principal dancer Nikolaj Hübbe will make a special appearance as part of Ballet Arizona's Balanchine Festival in Phoenix this weekend, Ballet Arizona announced.

Starting last night and through June 4, Hübbe appears in the lead role of Balanchine's iconic Apollo.

A former principal dancer with Royal Danish Ballet, Hübbe joined New York City Ballet as a principal in 1992. His roles have included Romeo and the leads in Apollo, Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, and other Balanchine works.
