Juan Diego Flórez

Tenor Juan Diego Flórez will appear at the Metropolitan Opera Shop on April 26, the Metropolitan Opera Guild announced.

Flórez will be at the Met to perform Ernesto in Donizetti's Don Pasquale opposite Anna Netrebko's Norina. The Met's new production, directed by Otto Schenk, opens March 31 and runs through April 28.

Flórez will appear from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., meeting fans and signing CDs and DVDs.

Netrebko and Flórez will also appear in a Guild event on April 5 at 6:15 p.m., discussing Don Pasquale with Bridget Paolucci. That event, at Lincoln Center's Kaplan Penthouse, is sold out.
