By Ben Mattison
28 Jul 2005

Boston Symphony music director James Levine, former music director Seiji Ozawa, and former Boston Pops conductor John Williams performed together for the first time on July 26 at Tanglewood.

The three conductors came together for the annual Tanglewood on Parade gala. The concert featured performances by the BSO, the Pops, and the Tanglewood Festival Orchestra. Pops principal guest conductor Bruce Hangen and Houston Symphony music director Hans Graf also appeared.

Levine, Ozawa, and Williams were photographed during a rehearsal break on the afternoon of July 26.
