The New York City Opera is currently welcoming some of Broadway's biggest names to its stage for a new production of Leonard Bernstein's take on Voltaire's Candide.
At left, John Cullum (Urinetown) is seen as the Gov'nor and Judy Kaye (Ragtime) as the Old Lady. Below, Kaye, Keith Jameson (Candide), and Stacey Logan (Paquette) revel in one of the opera's numerous comic moments.
