György Kurtág's Kafka Fragments, the latest installment of soprano Dawn Upshaw's Perspectives series at Carnegie Hall, opened on January 10.

Director Peter Sellars staged the concert, which is comprised of 39 songs for violin and soprano, with text drawn from Franz Kafka's letters and diary entries. Geoff Nuttall accompanies Upshaw on the violin.

Kafka Fragments runs through January 13.
