Commute in from Brooklyn! I've been getting so much more reading in coming in and out of the city every day. Right now I'm reading a great murder mystery from the 1790s.
A little pre-show yoga warm up! I love Sonic Yoga on 8th Ave- it's an easy walk from the theatre and Chris's 4:30pm on Saturday is perfect for between shows.
Arriving at the theatre! I'm always the first cast member here. I like having plenty of time to chill and make tea and really take my time getting ready.
I wear very minimal makeup in my day-to-day life, so there's something fun about getting extra glam for a show. I like having an excuse to whip out all of my brushes and play with more dramatic and fun makeup.
Some of my best friends from LA flew in and saw my matinee! What a great surprise!
Some lovely flowers from my lovely friends.
I have two hours in between shows, so I get to grab some dinner in Hell's Kitchen with these goofballs.
We decide to go to Southern Hospitality. We had our opening night party here and the food was fantastic, so I've been dying for an excuse to come back! They even have some "Stuffed" specials! I had the burnt-end brisket chili and it was delicious.
Back at the theatre and ready for show #2. I realize I've stolen both the sweater and hat I'm wearing from my boyfriend. Can you blame me?
My manager, Avi Simon, has flown in from LA and saw this evening's performance! We polished off our glasses of wine before I remembered to take this photo. They always spoil our cast at Adella, the wine bar right across the street from the theatre!
