festivals featuring simultaneous performers on all main stages at Frederick P. Rose Hall. The
last one of the season is the Chick Corea Festival highlighting the great work of this
magnificent musician from May 16–18.

Blood On The Fields: Two Decades Later
04 Feb 2013 -- Blood on the Fields, the historic oratorio on slavery and freedom written by Wynton Marsalis, premiered April 1, 1994 in Alice Tully Hall. In 1997 it became the first jazz composition to receive the Pulitzer Prize in Music.
Birth of the Cool
30 Nov 2012 -- Jazz at Lincoln Center continues its 25th Anniversary celebration with a series of festivals highlighting its rich history of performances. In January, JALC explores a particular era in jazz with the Birth of the Cool Festival, featuring performances in Rose Theater, The Allen Room, and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in Frederick P. Rose Hall.
