Ruthie Ann Miles, who won a Tony Award for her performance as Lady Thiang in the Tony-winning 2015 Broadway revival of The King and I, will reprise that role when the production makes its London bow beginning June 21 at the Palladium Theatre.

Miles will join the previously announced Kelli O’Hara, who earned a Tony Award for her portrayal of headstrong school teacher Anna Leonowens, and her original co-star, Tony nominee Ken Watanabe as the King of Siam. The production, which will officially open July 3, will mark the West End debuts for all three actors.
Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher and members of the Broadway creative team will remount the expansive production for London audiences.
The Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II musical, based on the life of Anna Leonowens as well as Margaret Landon's 1944 novel Anna and the King of Siam, includes classics such as “Hello Young Lovers,” “I Whistle a Happy Tune,” “Shall We Dance?,” and “Getting To Know You.”
The revival opened April 16, 2015, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater and won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical.
Miles, who recently announced she and her husband Jonathan Blumenstein were expecting their second child, was most recently seen on Broadway in the revival of Sunday in the Park with George.
