The Martina Arroyo Foundation, an organization that guides young classical singers through interpretations of operatic roles, will honor two Broadway legends and two Metropolitan Opera stars at its 13th annual gala.
The November 13 celebration will pay tribute to Tony winners Tommy Tune and Chita Rivera, as well as opera singers James Morris and Ailyn Pérez. The event will take place in the Grand Salon of the JW Marriott Essex House.
Following dinner, award presentations, and a live auction, the evening will conclude with dessert and a performance by members of the Foundation's Prelude to Performance program and special guests.
Rivera and Tune recently launched a concert act together titled Chita & Tune: Just in Time. Performances will resume January 17, 2018, in Sarasota, Florida.
