Before we usher in 2018, Playbill looks back at the viral Broadway videos that propelled us through the year. Did we include your favorite? Only one way to find out! Here are 7 of the best viral Broadway videos of 2017—in no particular order.

Luke Chacko sings "Let It Go" for Idina Menzel
After a video of Idina Menzel inviting kids onstage to sing for her went viral, Ellen invited one special talent from that original video to offer a full performance of the song for the Tony-winning star on national TV. When this kid opened his mouth, no one expected the voice that would come out and viewers went nuts for the Ellen video.
James Corden and Neil Patrick Harris Duke it Out with a Broadway Riff-Off
Who’s more Broadway: Tony winner and Tony host Neil Patrick Harris or Tony winner and Tony host James Corden? The two stars of stage and screen fought for the ultimate title in this hilarious sing-off from Corden's Late Late Show.
Ben Platt Sings "For Forever" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Ben Platt became the performer of 2017 when he won the Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his heart-wrenching performance in Dear Evan Hansen, and this television performance of one of the show’s songs will show you why. Featuring an expanded orchestra, this performance was easily one of the best of 2017.
Miranda Sings Hamilton in 5 Minutes
The Miranda singing in this super-fast rendition of the hit show isn’t Lin-Manuel, but YouTube sensation Miranda Sings. She may not perform the best-sung rendition of the Hamilton score you’ve ever heard, but it will keep you laughing.
Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Jay Armstrong Johnson Sing "Sixteen Going on Seventeen"
Two three-named Broadway favorites teamed up for a fresh take on this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic for the Actors Fund Broadway Backwards concert, a benefit that lets Broadway performers take on gender-bending renditions of your favorite showtunes. This performance was the clear standout from this year’s one-night-only event.
Jasmine Rodgers sings "Easy As Life" from Aida
Is there anything more exciting than young talent? Texas’ Jasmine Rodgers was a finalist at this year’s Jimmy Awards, which honors the best of high school musical theatre talent nationwide, and when you hear her sing, you’ll know why.
Crosswalk the Musical On Broadway
James Corden’s Crosswalk the Musical series presents musicals in Los Angeles crosswalks, with performances that can only last as long as the red light. Their mixture of solid performances and hilarious antics have made many of the videos go viral. This last one just barely made it into 2017, dropping a few weeks ago, but with Tony-winning talent like Hugh Jackman and a songlist that includes numbers from such classics as On the Town and Guys and Dolls, this particular entry was the clear winner for 2017.
