Video See Jennifer Damiano, Alice Ripley and More Perform a Spanish-English Version of Next to Normal Tune Members from the original casts of Next to Normal and Casi Normales reunited in New York for the special recording.

Earlier this year, Tony winner Alice Ripley and Jennifer Damiano visited the Consulate General of Argentina to perform in Next To Casi Normales, a duo-language concert featuring songs from Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey’s Pulitzer-winning Next to Normal—and the Argentinean version produced in Buenos Aires, Casi Normales.

Members from the original casts of both shows reunited in New York City this holiday season to record a Spanish-English version of the finale “Light.” Watch their performance in the video above.

Joining Ripley and Damiano in the recording studio were Nando González, Roger Berruezo, Guido Balzaretti, Jana Gómez, and Fabio Arrante from Spain, as well as Laura Conforte, Martin Ruiz, Mariano Chiesa, Fernando Dente, Manuela Del Campo, and Franco Masini from Argentina. Anibal Vecchio directed, with musical direction by Xavi Torras.

Ripley and Damiano co-starred as Diana and Natalie in the original production of Next to Normal at the Booth Theatre in 2009. The two later reunited onstage in the Broadway premiere of American Psycho in 2016.
