The play follows a pair of two middle-aged people in Rhode Island, who have known each other since childhood but are currently mismatched with younger partners. The “will they won’t they” tale follows the two as they navigate real estate deals, underwhelming poetry, and his imposing mother.

Performances are scheduled to run at New York City Center Stage I through December 3 following a recently announced extension.
