Streisand's acclaimed 13-city concert tour coincided with the release of her latest album ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, a collection of theatrical duets with special guests including Anne Hathaway, Patrick Wilson, Hugh Jackman, and Jamie Foxx—who joins Streisand on the TV special.

The Music… The Mem'ries… The Magic! captures a number of songs that Streisand has rarely performed in concert, including “Losing My Mind” from Follies, as well as Kander and Ebb’s “Isn’t This Better” and “How Lucky Can You Get” from the Funny Lady film score. Highlights also include Streisand’s radio hits “No More Tears (Enough Is Enough),” “Woman in Love,” as well as her career-defining anthems “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” “Papa, Can You Hear Me?” more.
