Academy Award winner Hayley Mills (Pollyanna, The Parent Trap) is set to star in the New York premiere of Party Face, a new play by Irish playwright and actor Isobel Mahon. The comedy is set to play City Center Stage II beginning January 11, 2018. Amanda Bearse (Married…With Children) will direct.
Party Face, previously titled Boom?, sees a housewarming party spiral out of control when her mother arrives with a few surprises in tow.
The play will officially open January 22 and is currently scheduled to run through April 8. Further casting will be announced at a later date.
The Off-Broadway production will feature set design by Jeff Ridenour, lighting design by Joyce Liao, costume designs by Michael Blatzer, sound design by Damien Figueras and casting by Pat McCorkle, CSA, McCorkle Casting, Ltd. Brierpatch Productions serves as general management.
Mahon’s plays include So Long, Sleeping Beauty, The Rules, and Billy the Boat Loves Angelina.
