Current Kinky Boots star and YouTube sensation Todrick Hall is the National Ambassador for the 2017 event.

“When I was a child and saw my first Broadway show, I never knew that people could do this as a career. That they could entertain people, help people escape from the crazy things happening and enjoy live singing and dancing and experience someone leaving their heart on the stage. It’s cool in this day and age to see someone not on their phone, but to be completely invested,” Hall said in a statement. “I hope and pray that it changes kids’ lives and doesn’t just impact their life for this one night, but inspires them to go chase their dreams. No dream is too small or too large. For me to come from a small farming community in Texas to now being on Broadway means that anything is possible, no matter what age, race, ethnicity or background. You can achieve anything you want as long as you believe in yourself and really dedicate your time to fine tuning your craft.”

A Kids’ Night On Broadway ticket includes pre-theatre activities, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more. Many Times Square-area eateries will offer specials for Kids’ Night on Broadway ticket-holders, including free entrees for kids.
