John Pizzarelli, the master jazz guitarist who was featured in the 1997 Broadway musical Dream, returns with his trio to Birdland nightclub in Manhattan January 15–20.

Pizzarelli specializes in jazz interpretations of classic standards, romantic ballads, and show tunes, accompanied by his guitar/vocal, piano, bass trio, reminiscent of the swinging sound and configuration favored by Nat “King” Cole in the 1950s and 1960s.

While maintaining a busy touring schedule, Pizzarelli also hosts Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli, a nationally syndicated radio program co-hosted with his wife, Broadway star Jessica Molaskey.
