Fox will offer a night of holiday programming December 14, including the return of Taraji's White Hot Holidays and the debut of Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas.
Empire’s Taraji P. Henson will host White Hot Holidays, which will be broadcast at 8 PM ET. The one-hour special will feature holiday classics performed by Tony winner Leslie Odom, Jr., Chaka Khan, Ciara, Faith Evans, Fergie, Jussie Smollett, Salt-N-Pepa, and the Ying Yang Twins. The holiday event will also feature appearances by DJ Khaled, Taye Diggs, Jay Pharoah, Method Man, Tituss Burgess, and Niecy Nash.
Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas will follow at 9 PM. Steve Harvey will host the hour-long broadcast featuring some of the nation’s top musical acts offering their favorite Christmas songs. Expect performances from Snoop Dogg & Boyz II Men, Fifth Harmony, and DMX as well as a live talent competition. The Real's Adrienne Houghton will co-host.
Taraji's White Hot Holidays is produced by Casey Patterson Entertainment, Henson, Jane Mun, Greg Sills, and Vincent Cirrincione. Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas is executive produced by Jim Roush and Chris Wagner for the Roush-Wagner Company.
