The long-running Wicked continues to see green, landing toward the front of the pack in the week ending December 17. The musical grossed $2,000,828 (112 percent of its potential), playing to a crowd just two points shy of Standing Room Only.

Wicked was up over $100,000 from the week before, and that number will continue to climb as schools observe winter break—and as the musical plays nine performances over Christmas week.

Also surpassing the $2 million mark were The Lion King, Springsteen on Broadway, Hello, Dolly! and, once more at the top of the boards, Hamilton.

SpongeBob SquarePants also saw a six-figure boost from the previous week, earning a three-week high of $758,067. The musical is still hovering around 50 percent of its gross potential, however. Following a wave of largely positive reviews and an imminent holidays bump, the musical should be able to see a steady increase toward higher figures.
