Finke made her Broadway debut as Cosette in the 2014 revival of Les Misérables, playing the role for a year from September 2015 to September 2016. After originating the role of Johanna in the new immersive production of Sweeney Todd at Barrow Street Theatre, she returned to Broadway as Janice in Come From Away, replacing Kendra Kassebaum. For a short stint, Finke and Carroll performed in neighboring theatres, as Carroll recently originated the role of Johnny in last season’s Bandstand. An instrumentalist and actor, Carroll and his castmates played their own instruments as part of the show’s Donny Nova Band, with Carroll on drums. It wasn’t the first time he did double duty, having made his Broadway debut in Once. He also replaced Santino Fontana as Topher in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella and appeared in the 2013 revival of Romeo and Juliet.
