Broadway songwriter and singer Amanda Green plans engagingly titled cabaret performance Amanda Green’s Amazing Colossal Sh*t Sheaux 7 PM November 13 at Birdland in New York City.

Green, who was nominated for Tony Awards for her work as lyricist on Bring It On! and Hands on a Hardbody, promises an evening of “hilarious and moving songs, including a few from new and upcoming shows.” Her credits also include additional new lyrics for the Broadway revival of On the 20th Century and the TV special Peter Pan Live!, both of which had lyrics co-written by her father, Adolph Green, and his writing partner, Betty Comden.

Her special guests for the concert will be a lineup of Tony Award nominees: Jenn Colella (currently starring in Come From Away), Norm Lewis (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess), Howard McGillin (Anything Goes), and Jarrod Spector (Beautiful), plus Doctor Zhivago star Kelli Barrett.

Birdland is located at 314 West 44th Street in Manhattan just west of the Times Square theatre district. Tickets, which cost $35 (plus a $10 drink/food minimum), can be ordered online or by phone: (212) 581-3080.

Norm Lewis and Howard McGillin have been special guest performers on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises.

Jarrod Spector is scheduled to perform on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas July 2018 cruise to Iceland, accompanied by Judy Kuhn, Christine Ebersole, Rob McClure, Carmen Cusack, and Sierra Boggess.

Cabins are still available for Broadway on the Danube River with Michael Feinstein for November 3–13, also featuring Rachel Bay Jones, Julia Murney, Christopher Fitzgerald, Laura Osnes, Marc Kudisch, Brandon Uranowitz, and Seth Rudetsky.
